Medical Advice for older adults
There are many common health conditions in older adults that do not fit into distinct organ-based disease categories and often have multiple causes. The list includes conditions such as impaired memory and cognition, incontinence, appetite changes, falls, mobility, sleep disorders, fatigue, dizziness, and decreases in hearing, sight, and speech.
These conditions are common in older adults, and combined they can have a major impact on quality of life and may cause disability.
During a geriatrics consultation, Dr. Giesen will explore these concerns and help develop a plan individualized for each patient. This plan can be shared with your primary care physician.
**We are here to serve patients whether or not they are part of our primary care practice.
