Dr. Anne Giesen is board certified in geriatric medicine, family medicine, and hospice/palliative medicine. She has been a practicing geriatrics physician since 2000, and in the Boulder area since 2002. Dr. Giesen has worked in an outpatient geriatrics medical practice, managed patients in area nursing and assisted living facilities, and served as physician for local hospice agencies.
Dr. Giesen earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular/Cellular Biology from the University of Washington in Seattle, and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 1996 from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine. She completed both her residency in Family Medicine and Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Giesen has dedicated her career to caring for older adults. She truly enjoys connecting with her patients and being of service to her community.

Dr. Michele Lee is board certified in geriatric medicine and family medicine and has been a practicing geriatrics physician since 2000. She has cared for patients in clinics, nursing homes, assisted living communities and private homes. Before she came to Colorado, she was Senior Health Clinic Medical Director and Associate Professor of Family and Community Medicine at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She served as medical director for a home health care agency and a hospice in New Mexico.
Dr. Lee earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master’s degree in Biology at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and her M.D. at Jefferson Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She completed her residency in the Department of Family and Community Medicine and her fellowship in Geriatric Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of New Mexico.
Dr. Lee enjoys dancing, cooking, and crafts with her two daughters and husband, Dr. Trey Dodson, a family medicine physician.

Ivy Chand Issa, MD is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She completed her Residency and Fellowship at Oklahoma University Health Sciences, OK City and began her career as a Geriatrician in 2000. Back in her home country of India, Dr. Issa was a Pediatrician. Having taken care of people of all ages, she realized that working with seniors was her passion.
Dr. Issa has been Medical Director of various long term care facilities and hospice groups. She moved to Colorado in 2022, from California, where she worked at the Riverside University Hospital Systems. Prior to joining Skyhealth, Dr. Issa had a Geriatric practice with Longmont United Hospital.
Ivy Issa completed her medical school training in Christian Medical College and Hospital at Vellore, India, and worked in India for many years before moving to the United States. She loves nature and Colorado has it all. She enjoys traveling, sewing, gardening and continues to admire, her husband, Victor’s gift of sculpting. She feels thoroughly blessed with 3 children and 3 granddaughters.

Malena Nicodemus is a certified Physician Assistant (PA), with many years of experience in geriatrics. She has cared for patients in long-term and skilled nursing care, assisted living, and outpatient clinics in the Denver metro and rural areas since 2008. She joined Wisdom Health in early 2014.
Malena earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology with a minor in Anatomy and Physiology from Colorado State University. She received her Masters of Physician Assistant studies degree from University of Colorado Denver in 2008.
Colorado native and lives with her husband and two young boys. She is a Colorado Rockies fan who enjoys spending time outdoors with family, hiking, tennis, and music.

Mary Brasfield Pecinovsky is a Wound Care Certified (WCC) Physician Assistant (PA) with many years of experience in geriatrics. She has also worked in pain management and orthopedic spine surgery. She joined Sky Health Services in 2023.
Mary is originally from Tennessee, but moved to Boulder Colorado to join the CU Snowboard Team and to receive her Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Physiology. She received her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies degree from South College in Knoxville, TN in 2012.
The mountains were calling, so she moved back to Colorado to establish her career and build a family. She loves to ride mountain bikes with her husband and two young children. She also enjoys making jewelry, weight lifting, and seeing movies with her friends.

Vikki Lindberg is a board certified family nurse practitioner who has been practicing in the Denver area since 2010. Prior to joining Sky Health Services, Vikki practiced for many years in geriatrics, and before that, worked in family practice in California and in primary care in Africa for the humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders.
She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology at the University of Kansas. Vikki went on to earn both a Bachelor and a Master of Nursing at Samuel Merritt University in Sacramento, California.
A native of Sweden, Vikki lives with her family in Boulder and enjoys in her spare time many outdoor activities.

Karen Erickson is a board certified family nurse practitioner who has been practicing in the Denver area since 2017. Prior to joining Sky Health
services, Karen practiced in palliative and hospice care services. She
practices with a strong emphasis on working with seniors focusing on their
best quality of life. Karen is committed to promoting a patient’s individual goals in her management of wellness care, chronic diseases and
prevention.
Karen’s educational background includes a BS in Biological sciences from Colorado State University. After graduation from CSU Karen went on to
continue her education. She obtained an associates in Nursing and later
her BSN from the University of Wyoming. After working 14 years in the critical care units of several Denver hospitals she went on to obtain her Masters in Nursing from the University of Colorado’s Family Nurse
Practitioner program.She holds a national board certification with the American Association of Nurse
Practitioners (AANP). She also holds a certification as an Advanced Certified
and Hospice and Palliative Nurse (ACHPN).

Natalia Spencer is a board-certified adult and gerontological nurse practitioner. She is licensed in the state of Colorado to provide primary care to adults, and has a strong emphasis on working with seniors and the elderly through end of life. Prior to obtaining her NP, Talia spent over 20 years as a hospice RN and geriatric case manager in patients' homes, as well as three years as an assistant clinical director of a local hospice.
Talia is committed to eliciting and promoting patients' individual goals in her management of chronic diseases, disease prevention and wellness care. She meets patients where they are with professionalism and warmth, and delights in working with the elderly.
Her educational background includes a BA in Classics and Religion from Reed College and graduate work in Classics at Stanford University. Her love of the elderly won out, however, and she left Classics to pursue nursing, receiving her BSN from Regis University and her Master’s degree from University of Colorado’s Adult and Gerontological Nurse Practitioner program.
